The Story Behind On the Rocks Lapidary Art
It all started with a little girl hunting for agates with her dad. From scouring the shores of Lake Superior to rummaging through landscaping rock in the suburbs, I loved searching for little stone treasures of any variety. Whether it was agates, jasper, or any other random rocks that just looked cool, my pockets were almost never empty.
As I grew up, I pursued other interests, but my eyes would always wander downward on hikes, along shorelines, and wherever there was landscaping rock. Over time, I circled back to my rock love more and more. Now (one very slippery slope later), it's my fully realized passion. From natural stone to finished product, every piece is celebrated.
